Madison's Story
Madison started riding in childhood at a residential summer horse camp. She eventually began giving lessons, while also taking up Eventing. She competed with her first horse, Stella, until Stella was injured at a competition. Madison then chose to redirect her training to Liberty work, focusing on the relationship first.
Always eager to learn more, Madison decided to take PHCP recognized courses in learning how to trim Stella's hooves herself. She then did advanced training and mentoring to learn how to trim for others as well. She also spent time volunteering her time at a local horse rescue with her newfound skills.

Madison continues her education by mentoring with several PHCP professionals and attends their yearly conferences throughout the USA. One specific mentor introduced her to his coach, who soon became Madison's coach as well. Madison decided that she wanted to support her coach while he presented at the Journey On podcast summit in Australia in 2024. That's when she decided to sign up for her first wild horse adventure in Montana. She had decided in advance that she would adopt the wild horse that she would be mentored in gentling.
